I don’t know about you, but those motivational posters in offices really irritate the poo out of me… and now I have the perfect solution for my office

Well, the holidays are finally over. I can finally breathe again.
With four kids, the holidays are really overwhelming. From October to January, everything is a whirlwind of parties (three of my kids have birthdays in Oct. and Nov.) shopping, cooking, and just CHAOS!
I managed to make myself sick the day after christmas - too much to do in too little time, methinks. I was laid up until yesterday, but at least I was able to catch up on my reading and planning. Ain’t life grand?

Well, I’ve gone and done it - created a personal blog.
I hesitated for a looooong time. Figured no one would be interested. Figured it would take too much time out of my day. Figured this, figured that, blah blah blah.
While researching some keywords a couple weeks ago, I searched my name. (once again) Figured, why not? Well, much to my surprise, an inordinate amount of people search for me.
Ask, and I shall deliver….
So, let’s start off with a little something about me…
I’m Erin (I kid you not - ’tis really me). I run a successful Virtual Assistant practice, TrinityJacobs, and have been in business officially since 2000 (unofficially since 1996). I started doing this when I was but a wee Erin - a teenager - and I was fortunate enough to have a seasoned entrepreneur take me under his wing, show me the ropes, and give me the tools I needed to grow. (I will thank you forever, Jim)

I’m currently living in Pueblo, Colorado right next to the beautiful Rocky Mountains (pictured above). I live here with my husband Adrian - and my four kids - Trinity, Jacob, India, & Elijah. We just moved down here from the Denver region - and now live painfully close to my mother-in-law. Right-next-door painful.
What else? I like reading, writing (always wanted to write fiction - I’m still waiting on that flash of inspiration), I like walking and playing with the kids (imagination-type games), I like to paint and draw and sing - although the kids are the only apppreciators of those genres :).
I’m a goofball - my husband says I have no shame, but is there really a reason to be ashamed of enjoying life? I can be a little cynical… and a little sarcastic. I poke fun at myself… and sometimes everyone else. All in good-natured fun, though.
We’ll see how this unfolds. I’m opinionated - I warn you now - so you’ll be hearing from me soon!
